about me

I listen first.

Then we figure it out.

My name is Magdalena Meiborg. I’m a social psychologist, a design thinker, and someone who has spent over twenty years watching what happens when people are finally given the space to hear themselves clearly.

I’m not a therapist. I’m not a life coach with a ten-step programme. I’m something a bit harder to categorise — and I’ve made peace with that. What I do is create a particular kind of conversation: one that’s curious, rigorous, and completely without judgment.

The people I work with don’t come because something is broken. They come because something is calling — and they want to figure out what it is.

Most of us don’t need more answers.

We need better questions — and someone willing to sit with us while we find them.

WHAT I BELIEVE

  1. Clarity comes from speaking, not just thinking. Something shifts when you say a thing out loud to someone who is genuinely listening.
  2. Different is better than better. You don’t need to become a better version of someone else’s idea of you. You need to become a clearer version of yourself.
  3. Curiosity is a form of courage. Asking what you actually want — instead of what you’re supposed to want — takes nerve. I respect that.
  4. Small steps taken consciously go further than big leaps taken blindly. We work with what’s real, not with what sounds good on paper.

BACKGROUND

HOW I WORK

Every conversation starts with listening. The way of listening where I’m paying attention to what you’re not saying as much as what you are. From there, we might use specific tools from psychology or design thinking, or we might follow the thread wherever it leads.

There’s no fixed format. Some people come once and leave with what they needed. Others find it useful to return. What matters is that the conversation is genuinely yours — not a service I’m delivering to you, but something we’re building together.

Curious what a conversation looks like?

Start with a note. Tell me where you are right now — that’s enough.
